Environmental Risk and Carbon Emissions †Free Samples to Students

Question: Examine about the Environmental Risk and Carbon Emissions. Answer: Presentation: Distributed computing is remarkably affecting all the business and is perhaps the greatest advancement in the data innovation frameworks in the previous decade. Money related Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) began their arrangement of moving to the Amazon Cloud (Wamba et al. 2015). FINRA began moving their very basic frameworks in to the Amazon Cloud framework. They had the option to move their entire procedures into the Amazon Cloud and now they can screen and record the day by day occasions in the New York Stock Exchange without any problem. The organization can record around 75 billion individual occasions regularly, which is a noteworthy accomplishment for the association. The association has had the option to decrease the expense of capacity by actualizing the Amazon cloud administration and has had the option to store trillions of information, which may record to around 20 petabytes of information (Provost and Fawcett 2013). The U.S. Protections and Exchange Commission are the essential controllers of the financial exchange and the new standards set by the administration will require FINRA to gather and break down more measures of information. This is the very explanation that FINRA will be attempting to embrace to Amazon distributed computing framework which will assist the association with reducing the expense of capacity and increment the capacity limit. The association at first sort help of numerous experts and merchants who offered such types of assistance, yet a large portion of them attempted to persuaded the association that it is difficult to deal with a database of such greatness on a private stage (Kraska 2013.). There are four significant effects of the open cloud administration on FINRA and it depends on the standards of the association. These central point are independence, open source, open versus private cloud and customization. FINRA had the option to build up an in house framework, whic h as ready to deal with the Amazon Web Services with no merchants and advisors (Cai and Zhu 2015). This has assisted with lessening the general expense of the association altogether. The organization has built up an open cloud framework, which could be trying, as it is hard to deal with a foundation of such extent. The organization built up an open source database, which will assist them with avoiding permitting, and it depends on the Hive and HBase. The association modified the stage as per their necessities that decreased expense of moving the framework into another cloud database (Kuner et al. 2012). FINRA has consolidated a large portion of the accessible highlights of the Amazon cloud administrations. They are utilizing the Elastic Container Services rather than the EC2 virtual machines. The association utilizes a private cloud database and utilizations an immediate association for systems administration (Chen, Mao and Liu 2014). This shows the association has rolled out massive improvements to the database, which will suit their own need. FINRA has had the option to get rid of the restrictive framework and has empowered them to encourage the preparing of the immense number of information. This likewise helped the association to store gigantic piece of information helpfully at a negligible expense (Ularu et al. 2012). The improvement in the new framework is unquestionably progressively better than the old framework and the improvement in the framework is exponential in nature. The association can do their whole errand in minor seconds, which will spare them a great deal of time and remaining task at hand. The new framework has had the option to change the entire association; the new framework is as such it will have the option to assimilate streak crashes and other antagonistic market circumstances. The framework will consequently turn up a large number of hubs to take them disconnected and the security of the cloud-based framework is undeniably increasingly better than the typical frameworks (Dubey et al. 2016). Request Audit Trail System (OATS) is a robotized framework, which is utilized to store and record information identifying with orders. The data pretty much all the values that had been sold on the NASDAQ is recorded utilizing the OATS framework. This is a framework, which will rearrange the general procedure beginning from the underlying receipt to the execution of the technique. This gadget helps in following of the all the market instruments so it very well may be effectively evaluated a while later. FINRA has fused this framework in to their association, which is helping the association to reproduce occasions all together lifecycles and checking of the considerable number of stocks and the values in the market. Influence of the rising advancements on existing advances The conventional data framework approach was to purchase equipment, servers, permit and establishment of programming. This customary procedure was tedious and exorbitant as it required sending cycles that are long and foundation requests. In any case, with the development of the cloud based framework the entire situation of the data innovation framework has changed definitely (Cai and Zhu 2015.). The old procedures and the frameworks have gotten excess, as other powerful ways have been created which will effectively virtualizes the data innovation framework. The web applications can likewise be gotten to by the other new innovative strategies. This has fundamentally diminished the expense of equipment that were utilized for creating and keeping up of the servers. Be that as it may, the quantities of segments that are being moved in to the cloud by most of the organizations are a bunch. At first the organizations needed to comprehend the benefits of utilizing distributed computing wit h the goal that it very well may be coordinated in to the arrangement of the association by modifying it as per the necessities of the association (Kuner et al. 2012). The execution of the distributed computing framework in to the plan of action of the association is extreme, as the association would need to adjust their plan of action to suit the consideration. This has expanded the interest of the new masters who can screen and apply the progressions with no issue. The methods of making and building up the application have changed and the product engineers need to conform to the better approaches for utilizing the cloud server. The applications are move to general society or the private cloud so the organizations should change their methods of conveying applications. The help staffs that were required in the conventional framework have now gotten superfluous thus the requirement for help staffs has diminished fundamentally (Kraska 2013). The greatest difference in everything is that the information has lost its physical control and are being put away in server farms gave by the sellers. The security of the information has expanded and more secure in the cloud servers. The cloud suppliers have security specialists who keep up programming and equipment to shield the information of the customer from any break. There is no particular normalized programming for the cloud and the organizations alter the product to modify it as indicated by their requirements (Provost and Fawcett 2013). The quantities of programming application that are accessible in the open market are in millions. There is requirement for coordination among the specialist organizations and different applications, which are comparative and have a place with the opponent association. Mix is the new need where the organizations will smooth out the multi organization undertaking to make the work synergistic. These viewpoints are significant for association sh ow have framed a coordinated effort and without the utilization of the combination there will be issues in security of information, slips by underway and there will be disappointment in the correspondence arrangement of the associations. The half and half Cloud administrations have gotten famous, as this is an assistance that give most good intends to meeting the administrative similarity for the association. In any case, establishment and overseeing of this cross breed servers is costly and just 27% of the association have the assets for completely pleasing the cloud based servers (Ularu et al. 2012). The distributed computing framework has permitted all the individual utilize their own modified applications thus it hard to screen and secure the information. Along these lines, the organizations are utilizing outsider cloud arrangement, which comprise of security applications that will screen and shield the information from any undesirable break. Distributed computing is one of fundamental necessities for improvement of adaptable work environment. The workers are utilizing innovation propelled gadgets to get to the information remotely and cloud will encourage in joint effort, serious gains and exchange. The organizations will have the option to furnish the workers with adaptability, which will help in expanding the efficiency in the association (Dubey et al. 2016). This had lead to the development of cloud business administrations, which will encourage in furnishing the associations with perfect cloud specialist co-op for the association. These cloud financier administrations have picked up notoriety because of the requirement for incorporation in the crossover models and there has been quick development in this market. This has helped the association in adjustment of the BYOD, large information and administrations identified with versatility, which is going about as an impetus in the development of the Cloud Brokerage Servi ces (Provost and Fawcett 2013). This needs to prompt the rise of the SaaS arrangements that has been splendidly fused in the advanced framework. This will guarantee full mix fo the applications and programming with no holes and breaks. DaaS offers the association with the help to organizations to settle on decisions that cost productive and will give the association an upper hand in the market. FINRA has had the option to fuse the OATS framework with their private cloud framework, which has improved the capacity of the OATS framework. The following of complex information and recording it has gotten extremely simple for the association and the undertakings that would take a period of in any event five to seven hours can be settled in a flash and minutes. Corporate key arranging process Business execution doesn't consider the business in various level yet thinks about the business all in all, which helps in distinguishing the presentation of the association

Learn about our editorial policy Arlin Cuncic Updated on September 30, 2019 Social Anxiety Disorder Overview Symptoms & Diagnosis Causes Treatment Living With In Children Tim Robberts / Getty Images People procrastinate for many reasons, but the immediate goal is to bring a temporary sense of relief. The problem with procrastination is just that; the relief is temporary, and it is eventually replaced with anxiety about being behind in what you need to get done. If you suffer from  social anxiety disorder (SAD), you probably procrastinate out of fear of disapproval or failure. Perhaps you put off making phone calls, delay discussing difficult issues at work, or get behind scheduling health appointments, haircuts, or any other task that involves interacting with people. Unfortunately, the typical solutions for procrastination dont work in these scenarios. Breaking big tasks down into smaller chunks doesnt really apply when all you need to do is make a phone call. If you waste time at work trying to solve a problem on your own because you dont want to ask a coworker a question, no amount of planning or organization is going to help. How to Deal With Procrastination Caused by Social Anxiety First, realize that waiting for a better time to face others is not the solution. Waiting can make things worse. Personal relationships may suffer if problems are not dealt with early on. Work issues may become magnified if you dont ask for help. If there is no valid reason to put off talking to someone, then it is always better to do it right away. What are some reasons you might think it is better to wait? Thought: If I call right now she might be busy. Its better to wait an hour as that is probably a quieter time of day for herFact: Unless you know for sure that someone is busy, there is no reason to wait. You cant predict someone elses day.Thought: My coworker looks really busy. The Scarlet Letter Dialectical Journal Essay - 1868 Words

Tamara Haddad Wilhite P.5 Scarlet Letter Dialectical Journal â€Å"Like anything that pertains to crime, it seemed never to have a youthful era†¦ a wild rose-bush, in this month of June, with delicate gems, which might be imagined to offer their fragrance and fragile beauty to the prisoner as he went in† (Hawthorne 45). Hawthorne describes the door of the jail, as well as the rose bush to the side of it. I feel as if this is supposed to represent what Hester is about the experience: the harsh Puritan judgment, or the old door, along with the acceptance of certain people along her path, as represented by the rose bush. â€Å"An Indian in his native garb was standing there; but the red men were not so infrequent visitors of the English†¦show more content†¦Hester still has good morals, she wants her child to follow the Puritan religion. I imagine that something must have happened to Hester in the past with her father that she does not want her child to have to deal with, or it would be more bothersome for the father of the child to be involved with her child’s life. But it is not recorded that, in a single instance, her skill was called in aid to embroider the white veil which was to cover the pure blushes of a bride. The exception indicated the ever relentless vigor with which society frowned upon her sin. (75). I hate the Puritan society. They all know that Hester is awesome with her needle and thread, but for some reason everything is too cursed and evil that Hester even breathes on. They all act like they have never sinned. â€Å"If truth were everywhere to be shown, a scarlet letter would blaze forth on many a bosom†¦Ã¢â‚¬ (80). Hester Prynne is kind of a role model, almost. I admire her ability to admit to sin and be willing to take the consequences. Surely she was not the only one during Puritan times who had an affair, or even sinned. Everyone sins every day, and so technically everyone should have a scarlet letter of some sort. In my opinion, this makes Hester above everyone else. â€Å"†¦like one of those gleams of ghastly fire that darted from Bunyan’s awful doorway in the hillside, and quivered on the pilgrim’s face.† (118). Jaws Free Essays

The film ‘Jaws’, was made in 1975 and is a thriller set on a small American town called Amityville. The film is about a man-eating great white shark that terrorises the seas of Amityville and it’s public who swim in it. Steven Spielberg directs this nail-biting thriller. We will write a custom essay sample on Jaws or any similar topic only for you Order Now ‘Jaws’ is set on the 4th of July, which is an American Independence day. This film will keep you on the edge of your seats. This essay will show how Spielberg creates tension and suspense throughout the film. One of the most famous techniques used in the film ‘Jaws’ was the music. At the start of the film the screen is dark and the music begins. The pitch is low and the tempo is slow, as the sequence goes on the tempo starts to speed up and the pitch gets higher. When the tempo of the music speeds up it is like the heartbeat of the shark, which is getting faster because the shark is getting excited about something. At the same time the audience get nervous about what the shark is preparing to do. This sequence is used throughout the film to make the audience aware that the shark is about to attack. Before the first attack is about to happen there is a lot of chatter, firelight and mouth organs being played. This makes it a good contrast to the scary scene that is about to happen. When the girl runs off with the drunken boy the scene starts to get darker and quieter as they go further and further away from where all the people are. The girl runs into the water and the drunken boy lies down on the beach. The camera then points at the girl who is all alone in the water and there is no sound or light at all which makes the audience think that something bad is about to happen. This is really helpful to build tension and to begin putting fear in the mind’s of the audience, through the contrasts in the setting and in the changes in the music. As well as the use of music in this film Spielberg similarly uses camera techniques to scare the audience. Before the second attack the camera shows a mid shot at the boy and the women who are close together which makes the audience think that the relationship between these two people is like mother and child. While Brody watches the sea Spielberg uses mid shots, medium close ups and close up shots to show that Brody is getting more anxious. Then there is a point of view shot which is shot under water were the audience can see everyone’s legs. This creates a sense of dramatic irony where the audience know that something is underneath their feet but the people in the water don’t. As the second attack starts Brody realises suddenly what is happening and the camera zooms into his face. The camera also starts to show lots of flashing images of people panicking and the boy being eaten. This scares the audience because they have just witnessed an innocent child being eaten. This keeps the tension up in the film which makes the audience think that if it can kill an innocent child, how much further will it go. Another way Spielberg builds up tension is by how he portrays the shark. In the first attack he doesn’t show the shark; this makes the audience think and imagine what is lurking under the waters. He also shows how strong this shark is when in the first attack the creature attacks the girl and swings her from side to side and eventually pulls her into the water. Also into the second attack the creature eats the little boy and rips his Lillo to shreds. Throughout the film Spielberg reveals the shark bit by bit. Spielberg also shows real shark footage (when he films the attack in the cage) to make it look real and scare the audience, the audience is eager to see the shark which is another reason why he filmed it using a real shark. On the last attack the shark jumps onto the boat, the audience find it amusing because throughout the film they’ve been getting scared of a model shark. When the shark bites the girl you can from her face immediately that she is in pain she also shows this because she screams hysterically which makes the audience think what is happening to her. Spielberg avoids the shark at this point because it’s so early in the film and if he shows it at this stage then the audience will realise that it’s only a model shark and there would be no point watching the film. Another reason why he didn’t show the shark at this stage is because he wouldn’t have caught the audience out at the nd. So instead he used the characters’ reaction to show the power and the strength of the shark. Finally the way the story progresses will add to the tension of the film. Spielberg films the first two attacks together so throughout the film the audience will except an attack at any time which will make them always feel tense. The 4th of July is an American Independence Day which is a public holiday for everyone. It is summer and all the people are at the seaside having a good time. Spielberg chose this scene because there are more people in danger which leads to a dramatic affect. This attack also involves Brody’s son, which keeps the audience tense because we know who Brody’s son is. The more you know about a character the more the more tense you will feel about them when they are being attacked. For example the last section of the film when all the main characters are under attack in this scene, the fact that we know more about the characters makes every moment tense when the shark circles around them. Overall, the most tense moment in the film is the scene when the shark is attacking the cage. This scene is particularly scary because Spielberg used a real shark to film this scene which looks bigger and scarier, and the way it bent the cage bars really showed how strong the shark is. This is what I think is the most tense scene and is the scene that made most of the audience tense. These are the most important techniques that Steven Spielberg used to build tension and suspense in the audience’s minds. How to cite Jaws, Essay examples

1. Alexander Hamilton and the National Economy

Alexander Hamilton and the National Economy Alexander Hamilton made a name for himself during the American Revolution, eventually rising to be the untitled Chief of Staff for George Washington during the war. He served as a delegate to the Constitutional Convention from New York and was one of the authors of the Federalist Papers with John Jay and James Madison. Upon taking office as president, Washington decided to make Hamilton the first Secretary of the Treasury in 1789. His efforts in this position were hugely important for the fiscal success of the new nation. Following is a look at the major policies that he helped implement before resigning from the position in 1795. Increasing Public Credit After things had settled from the American Revolution and the intervening years under the Articles of Confederation, the new nation was in debt for more than $50 million. Hamilton believed that it was key for the US to establish legitimacy by paying back this debt as soon as possible. In addition, he was able to get the federal government to agree to the assumption of all the states debts, many of which were also sizable. These actions were able to accomplish many things including a stabilized economy and a willingness of foreign countries to invest capital in the US including the purchase of government bonds while increasing the power of the federal government in relation to the states. Paying for the Assumption of Debts The federal government established bonds at Hamiltons behest. However, this was not enough to pay off the huge debts that had accrued during the Revolutionary War, so Hamilton asked Congress to levy an excise tax on liquor. Western and southern congressmen opposed this tax because it affected the livelihood of farmers in their states. Northern and southern interests in Congress compromised agreeing to make the southern city of Washington, D.C. into the nations capital in exchange for levying the excise tax. It is noteworthy that even at this early date in the nations history there was much economic friction between northern and southern states. Creation of the US Mint and National Bank Under the Articles of Confederation, each state had their own mint. However, with the US Constitution, it was obvious that the country needed to have a federal form of money. The US Mint was established with the Coinage Act of 1792 which also regulated the coinage of the United States. Hamilton realized the necessity of having a safe place for the government to store their funds while increasing the ties between the wealthy citizens and the US Government. Therefore, he argued for the creation of the Bank of the United States. However, the US Constitution did not specifically provide for the creation of such an institution. Some argued that it was beyond the scope of what the federal government could do. Hamilton, however, argued that the Elastic Clause of the Constitution gave the Congress the latitude to create such a bank because in his argument it was, in fact, necessary and proper for the creation of a stable federal government. Thomas Jefferson argued against its creation as being unconstitutional despite the Elastic Clause. However, President Washington agreed with Hamilton and the bank was created. Alexander Hamiltons Views on the Federal Government As can be seen, Hamilton viewed it as supremely important that the federal government establish supremacy, especially in the area of the economy. He hoped that the government would encourage the growth of industry in a move away from agriculture so that the nation could be an industrial economy equal to those of Europe. He argued for items such as tariffs on foreign goods along with money to help individuals found new businesses so as to grow the native economy. In the end, his vision came to fruition as America became a key player in the world over the course of time.

Web Media and Web Application Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 5250 words

Web Media and Web Application - Assignment Example As the paper outlines the tourism service provider also aims to relate price of tourism packages with the holidays and the weather conditions. Better the weather; the higher would be the price. This would help customers to plan their travelling in a better manner and would put them in a more decisive role to effectively use the tourism services. On the other hand, tourism operator would have a competitive edge to market its packages because it is likely that on holidays if weather is good, it would attract more customers despite the package prices. The aim of this report is to plan and manage the project and identify any associated risks and ways to mitigate them. This discussion stresses that a project does not operate in a vacuum. Projects are impacted by, and have impact on, the culture, management policies and procedures of the organizations they are part of. The best project managers look for these influences and manage them for the benefit of the project and the organization. Matrix structure would be employed in the tourism service providing organization. According to Project Management Institute, matrix organization is a functional organization where expertise are grouped under areas of specialization in functional departments and a project manager separately reports to chief executive officer. Matrix organizations are either weak, balanced or strong matrices. Weak matrices maintain many of the characteristics of a functional organization and the project manager role is more that of a coordinator or expediter than that of a manager. In similar fashion, strong matrices have many of the characteristics of the project organization, and ca n have full-time project managers with considerable authority and full-time project administrative staff.

Fieldwork report Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words

Fieldwork report - Essay Example While providing much needed support to the patient and the family in order for them to cope with the emotional stress associated with being critically ill, it has also been found that nurses and health care staff assigned to intensive care units that deal with end of life situations deal with more stress than nurses assigned to other wards (Kostopoulou & Katsouyanni, 2006). During my visit to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hong Kong, I observed the palliative care given to patients in their oncology ward. This a mixed ward where they give care to both geriatric and pediatric patients with cancer. As an observer, I was able to see the developments made in giving palliation and what needs to be improved still. Queen Elizabeth Hospital is one of the many hospitals in Hong Kong that provides palliative care to their patients in the oncology ward. The services that they offer include providing possible placement and hospice care for patients. In providing palliative care, the patient and their families are given support for quality of life by preventing and providing relief from emotional, spiritual and physiological impacts of chronic illnesses such as cancer. ... The giving of palliative care may differ a bit in giving care to different age groups. Such as with pediatric palliative care that deals with children with the idea that children with chronic illnesses may not survive to become adults (Liben, Papadatou, & Wolfe, 2007). Education and psychosocial support is also given to patients and their families. In educating families, it is giving them options with clinical trials that can help with the prognosis of their illnesses. The psychosocial aspect helps patients and their families deal with the emotional and psychological stresses associated with being chronically ill (Chan, 2001). Culturally speaking, Chinese people find it a privilege to spend the last moments of their loved ones. This is slowly changing with the advancement of medicine and the constraints of living spaces in Hong Kong. Most deaths happen in the ICU or hospices and this has a significant impact especially on the elderly who seek palliative care. Even health care workers are aware of this human factor and may sometimes allow patients who are admitted to hospices to go home for a few days. This home leave improves the psychological and emotional aspect of the patient, but in most cases is brought back to the hospice or hospital (Ngai, Yuen, & Wong, 2006). CONCEPTS BEHIND PALLIATIVE CARE IN CLINICAL ONCOLOGY Palliative care has a significant role when dealing with patients who are chronically ill. The scope of care does not only extend to the patient, but to the family of the patient as well who together with the patient deal with the stresses and emotional burdens of being ill. Palliative care also gives importance on the role of health care workers in giving appropriate psychosocial support and exploring other clinical studies that can help in the

Time management for students

Time management for students The importance Of Time Management For Students Many people face the troubling In time management as we all know, In many of the cases lack of time are there. Someone has to finish his a task is suitable to the lack of prioritizing the task. Often people tend to have trouble managing time because they try to manage too many tasks at a time and also there are many people who just waste their time doing nothing just because of their pure laziness. Off lately time is becoming one of the most valuable resources which is wasted by many people because they dont know how to manage time. Many people in life do things which have no value to time. To prove this, walking through a dorm on a week night several students can be found sitting around and playing video games when they have a paper or an assignment due the very next day, and also can find employees sitting around the office playing solitaire while the hours are meant to be used to get productive work done. It is observed that for many, time may not be of any great significance but to others it lies of extreme importance. In my eye the constructive use of time is beneficial and that in any aspect of life one shall realize the significance of time and must measure the value of every minute and each second. Speaking of the use of personal and professional use of time I find that the use of both in an appropriate way is important. Personal as well as professional goals and the objectives are achieved or unachieved on the grounds of how one uses their skills. The results of ones efforts are directly attributed to the time management skills that they develop and often employ in many cases. Speaking of each in sequence Id discuss the following in detail. Target goals ahead, is always good to plan the future ahead or say prior to the assigned time in order to achieve the maximum output. Goal setting, goal setting is where the scheduled target is mapped out. It shall be preplanned to take up the top priorities and to schedule the major pieces of thoughts in advance, making a good use of time effectively and smartly, Delegating or getting rid of the clutter, achieving a balance is equally important. Punctuality is an important character in the world that we live, people need to make well use of the time that they have because time is scarce. When we talk of time management and the importance of time management for the students, the punctuality come sat the top of the list. Realizing the value of time and making good use of its essence. All the above can be considered to be the skills of the effective time management. Let us move to the real topic of discussion. The above was important to have been discussed prior to the actual discussion due to the fact that I disclose all that I personally had in my mind and at the same time to bring forth the matters of discussion in sequence.. There is a lot to say on that as it is a vast topic, lets begin with the real key to effective time management and how it relies on the focus of their goals by the individuals as well as the choices these individuals make for their achievements. The website of Counseling and Development Centre (CDC) 1999 March 16th stated the summary of time management principles and addressed the choices of how to best make use of your time. Coming to know of what your goals are and what time is available to you helps you decide of a good use of time and self management. My day begins at 6:00am every morning, I rush to have a shower, say my prayers and have my breakfast at 7:00am.Next I have to catch my bus at the bus station, from home to the bus station it takes about 10 minutes or more. Then on it takes 45 minutes for me to get to college. in the mean time as I travel Id take a piece of reading material to make good use of the travel time daily (it can me a magazine ,news article, a comic or some sports update. I like listening to the radio too so often when I am not reading on the bus Id probably listen to a radio programmed to pass time out. Im at college at about 8:00 am -8:10 am. This certainly is when Id sit back and relax myself or engage in a discussion with friends till its time for the class. At 8:30 am sharp the class begins and so does my actual day. I spend time studying and keeping me engaged into multiple activities round the clock, utilizing each jiffy effectively. This includes all from making use of the computer labs to reading books at the college library. I come home after college watch T.V. hangout with friends over a pot of coffee at Starbucks or others go for a walk and sit for some net surfing. Late at night Id sit to study have dinner and sleep and so the next day begins. Thus it is important for me to draw a line at the end to the point that the most effective way of utilizing time is its effective use. Im recalled by what I once read on â€Å"If Time Is Money, No Wonder Im Not Rich† by Mary L. Sprouse that offers an introduction to the financial planning, a guide to investments, and suggestions for applying Time Management Principles to Managing your Money. And this can only be done by getting serious towards the ground realities of life, accepting the challenges and working hard on targets and goals provided. This will help attain success in life very easily, we use basic thinking skills in every days live with less difficulty (Cottrell 2005) Time is very crucial; people need to make the best of the time in their possession as by doing so a lot can be achieved in their lives. Time being a limited resource means that a minute lost is hard to be return, life is short people need to make the best of it by making every minute count, by doing so most people can achieve their goals in life. Students should generate a habit of utilizing time more efficient and affectively. They are the new generation of the developed world therefore with the punctual character they could be unstoppable in the world. They can accomplish a lot in life therefore the world will be a better place. Time management is a skill that can be learned, and when done so can make life less stressful and productive. Everyone has different task assigned that need to be done differently. References: Cottrell, S. (2005) critical thinking skills http:// www.enotes.com, by sprouse, L. Lessons learnt from failure

Failure, it comes to everyone in different measures but only a handful of them gain from it. I also experienced a heart breaking failure which had a great impact on my life. At the age of seven I was introduced to chess. Though I did not have any Inclination towards the game my parents wanting me to stay occupied enrolled me in a chess academy where I learnt to play chess. I took to chess very quickly and surprisingly In a week's time I started playing better than most of the guys my age. I started winning trophies and certificates and playing lots of tournaments and inning most of them.I gained recognition and became famous In my town as a chess champion. I even won the state level championship which proved I was better than thousands of players In my state. All this at the tender age of ten made me an overconfident boy with a â€Å"greater than thou attitude However as a child I did not realize the amount of hard work and practice that I would have to put In to reach the national levels. I started taking things for granted, those early wins had gone to my head and though my parents encouraged me to practice I was reluctant as there was to much challenge for me in my small town.Hence I started playing chess on the computer and soon I reached the level with the highest difficulty, but very soon I got bored of it. The happiness that I would get from defeating a real person eluded me when played in front of a machine, which resulted in me getting disinterested in practicing chess, failing to realize that without practice I would never reach my goal of becoming a national champion. My parents persuaded me a lot but I was stubborn and did not realize that I would soon lose the mastery I developed with so much effort.Though I had stopped playing chess I never lost my overconfident attitude. Ultimately the time came for me to play the qualifying rounds for the national level tournament, as expected I went there overconfident of victory and played such an important t ournament without any practice. The results were obvious, I was defeated in the very first round and at that moment I experienced the worst failure in my life. At that time I realized my game had degraded and my skills as a chess player had deteriorated.I lost my confidence and became utterly dejected and devastated and eve up on chess. This was the biggest mistake of my life as I let depression get the better of me. I was deeply hurt and ashamed and withdrew into my shell for quite some time. After a couple of years one of my female competitor went on to become a grand master in chess , lots was being written about her In the news papers along with displays of photographs, making me feel all the more ashamed of myself. That ‘s when learnt the most valuable lessons which will stay with me for the rest of my life.First one was that never ever give up on your dream come what may, In other words resistance Is paramount and second one was that nothing can be gained without hard wo rk. Now as my academics also require attention I have resumed playing chess just as my hobby, at the same time I have firmly resolved to give my best to whatever I decide to do in life and steer the ship of my life to the shores of success. I am a totally different person after tasting failure and I feel I am more mature and more committed as an individual and am sure that I will bring value as a person to which ever institution I get admission to. (Soledad Leynes, 1986) In such case, eating away from home due to the changes in occupation and activities created a demand for cooked meals and snacks at a cheaper and affordable price that are served quickly. Dual career, parents and small families who really have no time to prepare their meals at home resort to street foods for convenience. These people seem not to care for the food source whether it comes from the legitimate food merchants or from the informal sector, otherwise called black market. (Soledad Leynes, 1986) Street foods, whether snacks or meals are affordable and always available, which are very popular among the low income households to a large extent and increasingly a daily fare among the middle income groups. Households with working mothers are afforded ready to eat meals without the burden of cooking at home. Street food caters to the needs of the urban poor population by making food readily available and at low cost. Thus, street food vending is a traditional activity which can be considered a coping mechanism of the urban poor. Street foods are ready-to-eat foods and beverages prepared and/or sold by vendors or hawkers especially in the streets and other similar places. They represent a significant part of urban food consumption for millions of low-and-middle-income consumers, in urban areas on a daily basis. Street foods may be the least expensive and most accessible means of obtaining a nutritionally balanced meal outside the home for many low income people, provided that the consumer is informed and able to choose the proper combination of foods.
